Tyler's practice primarily focuses on the representation of banking and financial institutions, public and private corporations, and other commercial clients in litigation involving a wide range of issues such as contract disputes, consumer and business banking, complex financial transactions, corporate fiduciaries, commercial and residential mortgage loan defaults, real estate transactions, business torts, commercial landlord tenant and employment related litigation.

In that regard, Tyler has substantial experience handling loan enforcement and workouts, and has regularly defended national and regional banking institutions in actions commenced under Articles 3 and 4 of the U.C.C., the EFTA, FCRA and TCPA. Tyler has also successfully represented his clients in numerous arbitration proceedings before AAA and JAMS. Tyler has also routinely represented institutions serving as trustees and executors in connection with proceedings involving disputes regarding the exercise of their fiduciary duties.

Tyler is often relied upon by his clients to seek creative and cost beneficial solutions to difficult issues, whether in pre-litigation or after a proceeding has been commenced. In that regard, Tyler has successfully negotiated hundreds of settlements on substantially favorable terms for his clients and will always search for ways to resolve a dispute without costly litigation.
