Biography
Joanna Kessler is an associate in the Tax and Trusts & Estates Practice Group of Sherman Atlas. She advises high net worth individuals and families on all aspects of estate planning, charitable giving, and estate administration.
Prior to joining Sherman Atlas, Joanna was an associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP.
Joanna is a graduate of the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif. In law school, Joanna was an Executive Senior Editor for the Southern California Law Review, a Legal Writing Fellow, a teaching assistant for Professors Scott Bice and Michael Chasalow, and a participant in USC’s Small Business Clinic. During law school, Joanna also worked as a Student Honors Intern for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Joanna received her undergraduate degree from Kenyon College, where she graduated cum laude with distinction in Sociology.
