Biography
Hayly Mickles practices in Sherman Atlas’ Commercial Litigation group. She represents public and private companies in matters ranging from secured and tailored lending and negotiable instrument litigation to FINRA arbitrations, employment counseling and commercial real estate disputes.
Prior to joining Sherman Atlas, Hayly attended Rutgers Law School where she graduated cum laude. In law school, she was a Senior Editor for the Rutgers Law Review and participated in the Hon. James Hunter III Moot Court Competition. She was a summer intern for Hon. Michael A. Shipp, U.S.D.J. for the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, and an academic year extern for Hon. Scott P. Myren, Associate Justice of the South Dakota Supreme Court.
In addition, Hayly volunteered with the Foreclosure Defense Project through Legal Services of New Jersey, where she provided legal research services aimed at helping low-income clients defend wrongful evictions.
Hayly graduated from Texas Christian University with an undergraduate degree in Finance and Real Estate and a minor in Spanish & Latin American Studies.
